Sorry my loves for the delayed post
Anyways the word for the new year is "melancholy"
Pronounced as muh-lan-ko-li
It means extreme sadness
The adjective form is melancholic
You can use it to describe your feelings or songs
"She was overwhelmed by melancholy when she heard the devastating news."
It should be an easy word to remember and i actually suspect some of y'all alr knew the word
Anyhows i wanna tell you bout something else too
Be careful of word forms
What i'm saying is if the word you're saying is a verb it may have plural and singular forms
But in the noun form it may not have
For example the word "stuff"
You can stuff many things into your bag
She stuffs the keys into her handbag
These are verb forms so there's stuff and stuffs
But when you're using it as a noun
I have lots of stuff to do
This does not have any plural form
It is just stuff no stuffs
I'll let y'all know more examples another time
I can't think of more currently
One more thing
Pronunciation
Some words have silent letters
Like doubt and subtle
It should be read as dout and sutle
And no offence to any of y'all
Tequila is pronounced as tuh-ki-la
Another one y'all should alr know
Mojito is mo-hi-to
Yups that's all i can remember for now
Will let y'all know again if i can remember!
Love Love y'all
:)
